From the Classroom to the Coaching Chair: Helping People Worry Less About Money

Hi, I’m Susan. I used to be a college instructor, helping students navigate academic challenges. Today, I coach people through one of life’s most common and overwhelming stressors: money.

I became a financial coach because I saw how financial stress affects every area of life—relationships, focus, confidence, even health. Whether it’s debt, confusion about budgeting, the pressure of not saving enough, or tension with a spouse over spending, I help clients make sense of their finances in a safe, supportive space.

I meet people where they are. Every coaching session is individualized, because no two money stories are the same. We focus on goals like paying off debt, building savings, creating a working budget, and strengthening communication around money—especially with partners or spouses.

I also work with businesses that want to invest in their people. When employees are financially stressed, it leads to distraction, absenteeism, and burnout. But with the right support, they can gain clarity, reduce stress, and show up more engaged and productive. That’s what financial coaching can do.

If you're ready to worry less about money—or want to support your team in doing so—I’d love to connect.

Let’s take the stress out of money, together.
